if you left mouse click on the screen the invisible w e screen will go away
once focus is put back on the desktop. my antivirus eset smart security does
the same thing. once i get to the desktop it disappears completely.

With the latest W-E and Windows7 64 bit, the W-E control panel comes up
by default when W-E loads, or when I restart it. At start up, I
sometimes get "Cannot save file" when I try to save settings, and
"minimise" leaves me apparently in the treeview, although my sighted
wife tells me that W-E is no longer on the screen. This apparent speech
only control panel seems to disappear after a while.
