To me, some of the good ones are just too intrusive. They want this and that. I would prefer those which you configure once and that's it. if they found infection, they either delete or quarantine it. that's it. no need to prompt me what to do. Despite I configure the eset suite 8 to delete this and that, it still have those almost invisible popup which you need to do or select.
If Kaspersky would do the same in some ways like the good old 4.5. -------------------- regards Thomas N. Some of us live alone with no or at least very little access to sighted assistance. If the software offers the most security but is only accessible by sighted users, and we don't have any sighted assistance, how good really is that software for us? If we can't work it, we may be locked out of our computers for various reasons with no sighted assistance. So really accessibility and security should go hand in hand. The most secure software needs to be also made accessible. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:talk-bounces+stepserve=comcast....@lists.window-eyes.com] On Behalf Of Nick Sarames via Talk Sent: Saturday, January 16, 2016 1:28 PM To: matthew dyer; Window-Eyes Discussion List; Karyn Campbell Subject: Re: preferred anti-virus programs for win 10 Is it fair to suspect that the most accessible software may not be the best? I guess I'd rather sacrifice accessibility in favor of security. On 1/16/2016 10:39 AM, matthew dyer via Talk wrote: > Hi, > > Take a look at viper internet security.
