After sending the email, if you want it to go out immediately, hit F5.
If it goes out immediately, it will show up in the Sent folder quicker.
Of course it all depends on how fast of an Internet connection that you
have.

Hello folks,
thanks for your help - now everthing works.
with control+n if I do not know the mail adress - Ienterthe ontact
listselect a name and press the spacebar key on the to botton and name and
email adress are filled in. Tis works with multiple adresses.
In case I call up control+3 I - after selecting a name - the context menue
shift+Pf10 and select send mail.
One problem left is that that send mails take forever to showup in the send
mail folder.

You can turn browse mode off with ctrl-shift-A, then shift-tab to the
attachment name. You must then route the mouse pointer to that name and
right-click that button. This is one case where the context-menu key doesn't
do the same thing. This is problematic if there are multiple attachments,
because Live Mail calls the list of attachments a slide show.
But I just rechecked and see that if I hit Alt-7 twice, I can use the right
and left arrows to select the buttons that represent each of the files. I
still must route the mouse pointer to the appropriate button and right-click
it to get a context menu that includes "open".

Subject: Windows live mail question
Please tell me the sequence of keystrokes in Windows Live Mail
to open an attachment. I know how to save attachments but want to know if
there is a mechanism for merely opening message attachments.
Thanks.
