when your in internet explorer do you turn browse mode off before you paste the
text?

I had said that it would copy, but it wouldn't paste into internet explorer.
It does copy, though, because I copied it into notepad or word pad, I forget
which. I can see the thing I pasted in. After that I tried to copy it from
there and paste it into internet explorer, figuring that, now that I could
see that it was pasted into the word pad, it should paste into internet
explorer. But it doesn't. So, the problem seemse to be internet explorer.
So if I don't get a link in a message to enter on, I have to write it down,
go into internet explorer and do the control o, and physically type in the
url. Pam.

Hi Paulette,
There is a very easy way of copying text in notepad, Word, Wordpad and
the like using a WE app called, select text. By default, I think it
also uses the F8 key combination so you would need to go in and change
the hot keys. I use F9.
Go to the start of the text to be manipulated, press the hot key, move
to the end of the text and press shift hot key. This selects all the
text which allows you to copy, delete, move and the like.
This app does not work in Thunderbird, Firefox, IE and Chrome.
