Narrator is the Microsoft Screen Reader of sorts. I don't know how you start and stop it in windows7 but the windows key and enter will start it in windows10. It is not very good as an intuitive screen reader but in windows10 you can set it to read items, characters, words etc... and it helps in debugging problems where windoweyes is not speaking. Often when WindowEyes wont speak I can fire up narrator move around the page or form and windoweyes will come back and I then turn narrator off. Rick USA
