Bob, I just tried entering text into the Write a comment edit box on the Mobile Facebook. After entering a few words, I then used my Left and Right Arrow keys to review the text. I repeated this test several times. I was unable to reproduce the issue you reported in this particular case. I tried using both Firefox 44 and IE 11 using the Window-Eyes 9.3.1 under Windows 10 Pro version 15211 32-bit. But, I was able to reproduce the issue you reported on the Amazon website. In both IE 11 and Firefox 44, after typing into the unlabeled search edit box towards the top of the page, Window-Eyes stopped speaking the characters when navigating with Left and Right Arrows. With that said, I could only reproduce this issue once in each browser and now it is working every time I test it. Maybe you are already know about this, but Amazon has created a version of their website optimized for screen readers at www.amazon.com/access. I am not a big fan of creating a separate website for accessibil ity but if it provides a better experience and doesn't limit any functionality, it might be worth checking out. These types of intermittent issues can be very frustrating and can impact your productivity. If you can find a way to reliably duplicate this issue on demand, please let us know as it will give us a much better chance of identifying the cause and possibly creating a solution. Regards, Marc

I am able to enter info, but not read itusing arrow keys. Occasionally, the CTRL-Alt-W Window-eyes relaunch fixes things. I do have Compatibility mode enabled.
