Well Rod, I was just a little confused, and I'm sure I still am, as to
what exactly this represents. I've heard of stack overflow, something I
ran into at times with XP, and a bit more often with the 9X series, but
not at all as of yet with 8.1. But I guess this isn't in any way related
to that, or is it?
I really haven't noticed any degradation of performance, so I take it
that it isn't something I need to be all that concerned about?

Without wanting to sound completely ignorant, the question in the
subject line says it all, or at least most of it I think.
I take it that the space allowed for these notifications is full, and
that something could be done to reduce the number of these
notifications. But how? Is the only way to take care of it is to reboot,
or maybe just signing out and signing back in to the system?
and one more thing. would there be a way to increase the number aloud,
and if you should do that, what would be the consequences?
OK, I guess that's enough. Any good explanation would be appreciated,
