Lloyd, just to let you know. I managed to fix the problem by going to the WE help menu, and there I ran across the licensing feature, and after trying to renew offline, tried the online option, which proved to be both the logical and right choice, so now all is well, at least in that department.

Thanks for your suggestions though.

Larry

In addition to E-Speak, just as with NVDA, you could run the Windows Server Speech Platform. The only problem with that and some of the SAPI synthesizers is that their responsiveness for character echo is lacking.

also check which w e synth you are useing. i think e speak is the only free synth supplied with the free w e version. if you are not useing a paid version
w e will run in demo mode until you switch synthisizers.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but make sure you run ne of the
office programs like word and make sure you are signed into your office
account and you should be all set. There is also a tole in the we
opsions menu that can be ran to fix this.

Just upgraded my laptop to win 10 and it works just fine .

I don't think I have to tell any of you just how maddening this demo mode can be, so if anybody could please help, I would love you for ever and two weeks.

Windows 10 looks promising, so would really like to have some time to spend with it.

Thanks,

Larry
