I updated my laptop from Windows 7 to 10 and it took a long time. When it was
finished, I could not get Jaws to speak at all. Come to find out, Windows 10
had somehow set the default to headset. You may want to have someone sighted
nearby unless you have any problems.

Subject: question about win 10 updrade.

Hi guys i was wondering if any one has upgraded a win 7 laptop to windows 10.
And if so was it a slow process.
I have done from win 8.1 to win 10 and all up it took no more then 2 hours.
I tried it on a win 7 machine today and i spend 7 hours and it still was not up
to the installing stage just updates.

So i stopped it for the day.
I can’t believe its just a slow computer.
I was thinking it may take much longer going from win 7 to win 10.
cheers Michael.
