Hi Veronica, I have noticed this sometimes as well, as it seems that it is as though the Control key is being held down when, in fact, it is not. Restarting Window-Eyes usually corrects this for me, and not simply using the normal Control-Alt-W hotkey, but Control-Insert-F4, and Enter, to close Window-Eyes and then restarting it. Note that the Backspace key in browse mode is an alternative to Alt-LeftArrow.
