It was a sad day when Hims stopped making the Voice Sense. Now if I want to replace mine, I will have to get a braille display, whether I want one or not.
About the swallowing whole of Aye Squared/GWMicro; it is so sad that I can barely think about it. I am beginning to think that no matter what we spout in public, blind people are slowed being screwed on many fronts. Have any of you guys tried to buy a stove lately? Finding one that is totally accessible is impossible. And now the competition between companies that say they want to sell to the blindness market and keep their needs in mind has been compromised yet again. Being blind these days is becoming harder rather than easier, no matter how you slice it.
