Hi Guys. I know that some of you guys are upset about this but here is my thoughts on this. As we all know, Window-Eyes has been denied its opertunity in mainstreme blind related computer programs, meaning that in the days of GWMicro, no agency would fund Window-Eyes even though it had a price tag similar to JAWS. As for NVDA, it's a great product as far as it goes. However, there are business's and employment that I have come across who don't like OpenSource. The reason is that they fear that OpenSource solutions can affect their computers with virus's, spyware, etc. Thirdly, it allows Window-Eyes to become embraced in schools, colleges, universities, etc as for years it hasn't had a chance to become accepted in schools in the US or in Canada. Also, there are also JAWS scripts that could easally be modified to work with Window-Eyes. These include CakeTalking from Dancing Dots, which I personally use in my recording studio to record music, as well as the lime notation product to notate scores. All of these packages that I use are essential for my work as a musician.
