I probably shouldn't chime in on this, but I doubt if
the people at Window-Eyes had a lot to say about this sale. The parent
compan is AI Squared, and I'm sure they made the decision.
No, the good people at WE sold to AI Squared because they kept their
prices affordable, and it's hard to feed a family on affordability.
The men and women who worked for WE and AI Squared were dedicated,
caring people. Unfortunately, big business gets the nod.
I've been a GW customer for 22 years, and love it. Don't forget all the
times they helped us out of jams, and not only in working hours.
There was no betrayal here, simply economics. At least we still have WE
for now, and we need to stop giving the wrong people grief. Granted, we
think they're there to please us, and they have, for many years. But I
suspect they couldn't do it alone any more.
Thank you Doug, Dan, Chris, Marc, and all the people I've missed for
exemplary service. May it continue!
