I love that, the computer was serviced by the computer. That should
keep the average human being thinking for about 30 seconds.
Seriously, i've done a bit of research on this. Earlier on the llist,
people had said that the phone calls arrived right when they turned
their pc on, or when they did something else. This is purely a
coincidence. What these guys do is run random phone number generators,
and if someone answers, they claim to be from Microsoft and the whole
thing starts. I'm glad that nobody is actually falling for this because
it could really be dangerous. Innocent people have lost their pc's due
to this scam, and that's just not a good thing.

Hello Everyone:
Both my sister-in-law and brother received phone calls about their computer.
They told the caller that they did not own one. My brother also told them
that he even does not know how to turn one on.
One time when I received such a call, I responded that my computers had just
been serviced by the computer. After that statement I hung up the phone.
All of us in the family make it a practice to say not interested and just
hang up. Otherwise they would just keep on talking to take up your time.
