Well Richard, Although I don't have any better suggestion, let me just say that I am in real sympathy with your situation. This can indeed be a very useful feature, especially when reading either long web pages, or in my case quite often, Bookshare DAISY books.. The only way I can hope to once again find my place is by typing in a string, or pasting in one that I stored in a file for recall at the end of my previous session, but this really gets to be a pain in the arce, to say the least.

This is a problem that I really wish the guys at AI Squared would try a bit harder to fix once and for all.

I have logged out and back in and restarted my computer. This is with We.

a error "ding" from the system.

Thanks.

Richard, try loging out and back in again, and maybe this will take care
of the problem. This happens to me more frequently than I like, and this
is the only semi consistent way I can remedy the problem. This sure can
be annoying at times. I haven't tried using any of mine since installing
the new version, so I can't speak to this directly, but give it a try.

Hi, Richard.

I'm not able to duplicate this using Win 10 x64/IE 11. Placemarkers are
working for me as expected.

What operating system and browser are you using?

Thanks,

Aaron
