Richard,

Once again, I have no answers to your problem. Fortunately the placemarkers that I set, some of them even several months old remained in place. You actually had me worried there for a minute.

But seriously, this is a bit of a problem, and I hope that it given some serious attention by staff in the future. It is just one of those things that happen to some and others, so the source of the problem may be a bit elusive, to say the least.

This evening I installed the upgrade to version 9.5 and this seems to have
remedied the problem.

Even when all is working well, place markers seem to be lost during
upgrades. Is there any way they can be retained through an upgrade?

I have logged out and back in and restarted my computer. This is with We.
9.4. Attempting to access place marker or to create a new marker results in
a error "ding" from the system.

Thanks.

Richard, try loging out and back in again, and maybe this will take care
of the problem. This happens to me more frequently than I like, and this
is the only semi consistent way I can remedy the problem. This sure can
be annoying at times. I haven't tried using any of mine since installing
the new version, so I can't speak to this directly, but give it a try.

Hi, Richard.

I'm not able to duplicate this using Win 10 x64/IE 11. Placemarkers are
working for me as expected.

What operating system and browser are you using?

Thanks,

Aaron
