if it is an upgrade version of w e 9.2 or higher it will only run as a demo if
it installs at all.
i would uninstall it before upgradeing from win7 anyway because win10 uses
different sound and video drivers then windows 7. they are not the same.
you would not have the problems of haveing to install w e twice and haveing to
run the w e diagnostic test to do the repairs it would have to do to get it
working.

If you have a recent version of window-eyes, you can go from windows 7

In addition to reporting the success, or not, of this method, could you also
let us know if the entire process of upgrade in a Windows 7 Pro environment
to the Anniversary Edition of Windows 10 Pro can be done with Window-Eyes
alone? That is, there is no need to run any other screen reader in order to
complete the process.
I note also on this list that others seem to have used this process with
success; maybe they may be able to answer my question.

Using this link, my tablet is in the first reboot. I didn't have any
display error issues.
I downloaded the media creation utility that is 17mb.
I won't be truly happy until it is complete but didn't have any issues up
until the first reboot.

The media creation tool worked. As I'm writing this, windows 10
anniversary addition is being installed. Thanks for the tip!
I used the media creation tool when I first installed windows 10, but I
didn't scroll down far enough on the Microsoft page to see this tool
when I tried this upgrade.
