Reva, I get the dings if I am trying to use the mouse pointer on my desktop view, but if I'm in Outlook or another program it seems to work. I'm in your boat of trying to get more adept with the mouse keys as I lose more visions, but I do not use magnification. What programs are you trying to use the mouse keys in? Might be able to help you see if it's something you can fix by starting with one or two of the things you are trying to accomplish or give you other ideas.
