Hi Bob and all,

Do you get the same security warning if you activate the URL shortcut from
the Favorites folder, found in:

C:\Users\<your user account name>\Favorites

Just wondering. Smile

Hth,

Rod

Subject: now, another security update for windows 10 is causing the same
problem

Hi,

Yesterday I had to uninstall cumulative update kb3189866. That stopped the
favorites security warning. Today I got another security update,
kb3193494 and id did the same thing causing any link in the favorites folder
to give a security warning when trying to open it. I also uninstalled this
latest update, and again, the security warnings are gone.
