Hi David,

I don't use windows 10 so just guessing. In windows 7 when I put in a cd/dvd A pop up message comes up. It gives me various options. For example, open folder to view files. play cd. play dvd. There are options in windows to select which option is checked by default. Where it is on windows 10 I haven't a clue. If you have a search box like windows 7, you might find information there. Often the pop up doesn't speak and we don't know it's there. Shift tab around to see if there is something there when you put in a cd or dvd.

Live long and prosper, John

Subject: Kind of OT, Auto start CD rom

Hi,

I am using the most current version of Window Eyes and Windows 10
Anniversary edition on a Lenovo desktop.

With my computer the CD rom does not start automatically when you put in a
CD and close the door.

What I am wondering is if there is a keyboard command to make the CD rom
start after putting in a CD and closing the door?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dave
