Rick, As Chris wrote in his original response, this setting must be enabled in Word, not Outlook, as Outlook uses Word as its editor. Thus, your Word settings apply in Outlook as well.

It is alt-apostrophe or alt-semicolon. They don't work unless you have spell as you go enabled in word.
