Hello, Maybe someone here can give me an easier solution? At my work, the Customer Service department has had a huge break down of their Phone system. Voice mail is gone, but the system does record the callers number.
I've been given almost two months worth of calls that have come in and they want me to work with this list to remove all duplicates. There are Hundreds of phone numbers in this list. These numbers need to be Hand Typed into something, such as MS Word, so they can be printed out and then Customer Service can call them back. I am thinking there must be some way to detect duplicate numbers, meaning someone has called in multiple times attempting to get to someone in Customer Service. Since these numbers will be getting manually typed into something, I am open to any suggestions as to what would work for removing duplicate numbers. I thought of a Database, but Win eyes doesn't seem to work that well with a Database. I could type them all into a Spread sheet, but I am not familiar with all the features in spread sheets. Is there one that would detect and tell me the duplications? Anyone have any suggestions how to solve this problem?
