Hi Joseph and Jim,

Actually, I just figured out how to fix this.
If you open the command shell, and press Alt-spacebar, you'll activate the
system menu for the command shell window.
If you arrow down to Properties, and press Enter, you'll be in a multi-tab
dialog, and you'll be in the first tab, called Options.
Simply tab to the check box named Use legacy console, check it, tab to Ok and
press Enter.
As the check box label states, you will need to restart the command shell
window for the changes to take effect, but, once reopened, the repeating of
screen content no longer occurs.

Hth,

Rod

Hi:

I too have noticed this ever since I upgraded to Win 10 last year.

Hopefully, WE developers know about this, but.

However, right now, the only work-around I have found is to use NVDA
whenever I need the command window.

Subject: windows 10 cmd command

Hi,

Using the latest version of windows 10 and window-eyes when I use the cmd
command everything just repeats over and over in the command shell, Is this
happening to anyone else? Any suggestions on a resolution?

Thanks.
