I have reinstalled WE and the set files. I still have to hit windows D to go to the desktop after startup on both my Windows 8 and Windows 10 PC's. It's not a big deal.

Hello.

There are 2 things you can try. First, you might want to try reloading all the set files in the window-eyes screen. If that doesn't work, the nex option would be to uninstall window-eyes, and re-install the program. Hope this helps.

Hi listers,
I have three issues I hope to get resolved.
Using win7 on a 32 bit PC with Window-Eyes 9.5.4 and WLM.

1. When I boot up I get the Window-Eyes start up sounds but no Desktop menu. If I press the control-numpad5 command it says "unknown". To get the menu to speak I must press control-D and Window-Eyes then speaks and reads the desktop menu. Question: Is there someway of getting Window-Eyes to read the desktop on start up as it used to do?

2. When I select "MyDocuments" or other subdirectories, again the ability to cursor up and down the directory is apparently locked and silent. Pressing the alt-spacebar-x command does not seem to work 99% of the time when this happens. Going back to the menu, often 2, 3, or more times eventually will get Window-Eyes to read the directory and allow up and down cursoring.
Question: Is there some fix for this problem?

3. Using WLM, I oftent get double readings of an email when I open it up. I think I remember someone else mentioning this problem before.
Question: What is the solution for this problem?

Thanks Much!
