Chris,
It is about time you stopped lecturing us. We pay for this product,
and I think that we are entitled to more support than we are getting.
If you do not like what is being posted on the list, why don't you
unsubscribe and save us work with our delete keys?
Yours in boredom with your sycophantic nonsense,
Robert

wow, sounds like if you're that unsatisfied, it's time to switch to
something like NVDA. Why use something that you're that unhappy with?

Greetings everyone.
There are many omissions with respect to the release of Window-
Eyes v95.4.
Given that all previous versions in the version nine cycle had this
certificate failure issue which the new version fixes, why did not
Ai Squared offer up new install links for payhing customers so that
if Window-Eyes fvails, we can have a simple installation process for
getting Window-eyes up and running again?
With respect to previous personalised links to the full install,
they only gave us a 72 hour window before the link expired? I have
just asked for that expiration window to be extended.
For at least the last two readmes, purchasing information has not
been provided. The lease-to-own scheme has not bee promoted.
Similarly: no gratitude and appreciation expressed to those of us
who have SMAS - which are tangible expressions of customer support
of Window-Eyes. Many of us are finding out things in an ad hoc and
generally unsatisfactory manner through individualised enquiries to
AI Squared.
Noting previous list discussion about the long standing bug whereby
braille displays freeze, particularly when web browsing, why did not
an AI
Squared spokesperson send the spin that it is a known issue and is
being resolved?
\
Today: I tried to web browse across several sites, including my bank
- the "find" command of Window-Eyes froze on three consecutive
occasions?
This list has several hundred posts now, without the intervention of
Ai Squared staff to try and correct or clarify user comments.
How can a company own an official support list, but not moderate,
promote, correct and in every other way provide the support which is
the purpose of the list?
I have expressed disquiet about the Window-Eyes for Office
programme. Basically: the evidence points to people on this scheme
getting what they paid for - pay nothing - get nothing when it comes
to list based support.
At least two AI Squared executives are in the management group of
VFO. It would be helpful if the corporate silence was broken, and
that if there is no corporate support for the future of
Window-Eyes, advise as to the process whereby we can get o8ur money
back. Where I live, taking money for a product or service which is
not delivered is illegal, and I would hope loyal custoemrs are
"stroked" by VFO in order to try and restore some good will.
If someone says Vfo has JFW, here in New Zealand, the Professional
copy is $2500.00 ,(rounded up slightly) and that is without SMA. I
can buy a Windows based laptop for 50% of the cost of JFW.
We are moving inexorably into the eighth month of the announcement
of the VFO grab of AI Squared. Most reasonable people were
prepared to take things at face value - to accept the promise of
exciting and positive developments. Promises have not yet been
realised, and the developments appear to be moving in the opposite
direction with respect to Window-Eyes and I also sense, Zoomtext and
Fusion.
