when I listened to Jeff bishop talk, on the Main Menu podcast, I felt
like he was all excited that now all the companies - Google, Microsoft,
VFO, would all work together now. I think this is what is being sold to
groups like ACB and NFB, blind service agencies, etc.
To some extent, this may actually be true as now the different software
companies only have to deal with VFO and not worry about dealing with
multiple screen reader companies - therefore not having to deal with the
same issue with different screen reader companies.
I just wish the one company could have been GW/AI Squared.

It means that there will not be any developments, but the Window-Eyes

should have brought about some probing for something more satisfactory.
It bothers me that too many people are gagged due to non-disclosure
agreements. Thus: we are not getting informed, independent analysis
of this topic.

I listened to part of the main menu podcast the other day and I was
surprised at how little was said about the future of window eyes. For
now, the word is that nothing is changing. I don't know what that
means! I just don't want to get caught not having the things I need
to do the work I need to do. Outlook 2016 is just not working for me
and I am not not not going back to best buy because they keep putting
things on my computer that I don't want. I am up-to-date with window
eyes and I still have an SM a left. I have no idea what's going to
happen to that! Just my take on things. I might make the switch.

Tony and Vaughan, I am in your shoes! The podcast in question HAD SCANT
information about Window-Eyes! In fact, it seemed as if the
statement made
was COERCED or somewhat FORCED out of the mouth of the interviewee.
For me to believe that Window-Eyes is alive, I shall have to see
either the
same, or something close to the same kind of service I once had with GW
Micro. If that's not the case, then, obviously Window-Eyes is dead
and it's
only a matter of time before its funeral is announced and we can
bring grave
flowers and also kick dirt over its grave!
Sincerely,
