Nick, many of us have to work. Our preferred screen reader enables us to do this. Technology is changing, and it appears we're going to be left in the dust before too long.
In my case, I am lucky in that I work for myself! As such, I can switch to whichever technology that catches my fancy without needing permission from anyone. What about others that are stuck with Windows and possibly new work-related software? Who can they talk to about getting Window-Eyes to work with newly installed software? Must they lose their hard fought-for jobs because Window-Eyes technician are no longer available to support and help them? Like many here, I am not going to Jaws! I have embraced Android and that's where I am headed as I silently and painfully watch with impatience where Window-Eyes is headed! I'd like to believe that I am naive, stupid and outright silly; however, current prevailing evidence keeps me in my pessimist shell!
