We do not know if WE is dead. Just because VFO is not as forth coming with
information as GWMicro was, doesn't mean that they will come out with an
upgrade soon.
Do not listen to the arlarmest. Perhaps eventually WE will be phazed out -
Perhaps not, we don't knowq.
Again, I suggest writing to the CEO of VFO and asking him.

The future development of Window Eyes is dead. We were lucky that WE
works with the Creator update of Win 10. What we haven't seen however
is any improvement in WE to work with the Edge browser as well as any
fixes for any bugs.
NVDA is a good choice for replacing WE however I know not everyone can
use it. The only way I will switch to Jaws is if they offer some great
cheap offer for us payed users of WE. Haven't a clue what will happen
with the two SMA's I have left for WE.
