Richard,
Ducking occurs when there is audio playing such as music or a YouTube
video and you do something to cause JAWS to speak. It will lower the
volume of the other audio to duck out of the way for a moment so you can
hear the speech.

Tom

Hi:
The easiest way to set punctuation level is to open the JAWS window with
Insert-j, then, go into the help menu and select the start-up wizard. The
first group of settings allows you to set speech rate, punctuation, typing
echo, and audio ducking if available.
The command that works like WE's read-to-end is insert-down arrow.
Hope this helps.

Subject: Jaws Questions
Hi,
I am now using Jaws 18.
I have a couple of questions.
First How do I turn off punctuation?
It keeps saying window-dash-eyes. I want to hear windoweyes.
Second What is the read all command in Jaws?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Pastor Gil
