First try going to the Window-eyes control panel.
Go to General/start up options.
Press alt-t. You should be asked to allow this app to make changes,
press alt-y for yes.
Next uncheck both boxes and reboot.
If that doesn't work, run the emergency removal utility from:
http://www.getwindoweyes.com/support/files/weremove.exe
Reinstall Window-eyes, don't use the quick install.
Accept the defaults accept for the one screen that asks how you want to
start Window-eyes, uncheck both boxes.
finish the install and reboot. You should be in business.

Subject: Saving a copy of Window Eyes
that's exactly correct with the exception of the free window-eyes that
runs with office 2010 and above. I cannot seem to be able to stop it
from starting up when windows starts for some reason, lol! so i have to
stop jaws from starting at windows startup and then switch.

Why would you want to uninstall window-eyes? Unless you're pressed
for hard disk space, all you have to do is tell window-eyes not to run
at startup. Personally, I will continue to run window-eyes as long as
it does what I need it to do. I'll take their free upgrade just so I
have it, but window-eyes development may be gone, but the product
still lives and works well.
