Steve, sometimes a shortcut key is handy if JAWS isn't set to run after Startup or it crashes which JAWS18 tends to do or when it loses focus and need to restart JAWS.

Change the number 18, to whatever major version it is. I haven't used the Alt-Control-J shortcut for ages. I just figured it was my computer that forgot it since it has already asked me twice before to confirm that I am the administrator. So, I set it again and it has been fine since.
