Where do you go to find these podcast by Jonathan Mozen? Thanks.

Hi Steve:

I didn't know about the touch cursor until a few days ago when I
listened to Jonathan Mozen's podcast where somebody described it. Up
until then, I would have avoided it, since I had assumed that it was
only for computers with touch screens.
I think that that might have been what they intended it to be in the
beginning, but it morphed into something more useful for all JAWS
users

Hi,

Actually the touch cursor is a bit misnamed, because you can use it with
the
keyboard. But yes, it is great.

All the best

Subject: Might be useful for new JAWS users

I am a long time user of JAWS. A lot could be done to improve its
usability.
Sadly, in recent times, the opposite is true. In many instances I find the
JAWS curser as a means of reading a screen just about useless. Instead, I
now invoke the touch curser which I find will get me to information not
available to either the PC curser or the JAWS curser. To enable the touch
curser, hold down the shift key and press the numpad plus key. You can then
move up and down through the information using the left and right arrow
keys, or if you prefer, by using the numpad keys four and six. To leave the
touch curser mode, simply press the numpad plus key twice quickly.
Hope this helps all you new JAWS users.
Martin
