Hi all, For some of the more tech savy people. I recently purchased an Aris cable modem, and a Net Gear router. Since that time my data usage has gone up quite a bit. I orginally had the modem/router combo from my provider. My question is: With me having a separate router if the router is on even when no one is using wireless, is there still a bit of data transfer between the router and modem, thuse causing my data useage to go up a bit? I changed my router’s login password from the generic one that was default and my useage did seem to go down..
