Thanks for the clarification Chris. Sorry about the false alarm. I was
confused. I thought that both BARD and the      NLS website would change at
the same time.

Hi.  According to information I received yesterday, the only website 
receiving a facelift this weekend is the website specificly for the NLS 
itself. that being

The BARD website, which is located at
http://nlsbard.loc.gov
will be staying the same at least for the immediate future.  There are 
plans to upgrade it before the end of the year though, and i'm sure 
announcements about that are in the works.  Since the Library of 
congress also owns BARD, there might be slight outtages over the weekend 
while they get the new nls website operational.  So if BARD doesn't 
work, give it a try later on and it should work.  I just figured i'd 
clarify that for anyone who might be interested.
