I'm almost with you Butch. I didn't get to start until 1984, and for a while, no access tech other than a TI 99/4A. Fun stuff. I have even been able to emulate the TI using MAME. A weird experience, but, it can be fun. And, it is actually emulated pretty well, from what the few 99'ers out there say.
