Under factory settings, you should have 22 apps.

I guess that depends on how many apps you have installed. I went to my
explore profiles under the file menu in the control panel and did a
search for .set and found 72.

How many factory set files are there by default? I only have 22.

Hi,
The set file for Notepad can be found by doing the following:
Open Notepad
open WE control panel with control backslash
press control-o
If the set is available, Notepad should have opened it automatically.
If that is not what you hear after pressing control-o, do the following:
type in notepad.set and press enter.
For the next step, you need to have advanced settings enabled.
If you do not see associations, press alt, h, v
Press a for associations and press right arrow
tab twice. It should say current. If not up arrow once
Tab once and arrow up or down through the options until you hear by
class
Tab to save and associate
press f6 and then left arrow twice to close associations node and the
set file will now be associated.
If you had to press alt,h,v to do this, press it again and you will
be returned to standard settings (maintaining your association.)
I did not see a set file for Notepad ++, but much of it should be
fairly similar to Notepad.

I have never created a set file; nor do I have the slightest idea of
how to determine whether a set file exists for an application I am
running.
If there is such a thing, please tell me where to locate a set file
for the Notepad application. While we're at it, please tell me how
to install the set file too.
I am also looking for a set file for the Notepad plus plus
application. I use these two applications for different purposes, so
would like a set file for each. Incidentally, I am running W E 9.5.4.
Thanks.
