Hello All,
I'm using Windows Live Mail in Windows 8.1. My screen reader is the free
version of Window-Eyes, 9.5.4. For some strange reason, my Spell Check is
disabled and I have no idea of how to enable it. I also notice that when I
send out mail, there is always a small attachment with it. How do I stop
that?
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.

AT present, I’m still using windows live mail 2012. With jaws it doesn’t
say replied to, forwarded attachment like window eyes when arrowing up and
down the message list. It’s my understanding you have to buy outlook?

Hi Russ:
It works tolerably well.
There are a few weirdnesses, like JAWS not reading when trying to edit in
the to:, cc:, or bcc: field.
Outlook may work just a little more smoothly with JAWS, and JAWS has more
configuration options, like automatic reading when opening messages with
Outlook.
Windows mail automatically reads the first few lines of a message, making it
easier to tell whether I want to press Enter on that message. I usually
disable the conversation view, and, but, it does work ok with it.
One way outlook is more configurable is that I can set outlook to
automatically open the next message or the previous message (which I use,
because Outlook shows messages newest first).
With the beta of JAWS, it isn’t reading messages in Mail correctly—it reads
the first message you open, then, when you open the next, it still wants to
read the first message you opened.
Hopefully, they’ll fix this—it’s been reported enough.
Cheers.

Hi listers:
This is the first (and probably only) time I get to use an SMA, but, I took
the plunge and ordered it.
I have to say VFO is pretty quick when upgrading to an SMA. I ordered it
yesterday and within a few minutes, the activation server showed the change
to version 18.0 plus 2.
This certainly seems quicker than the migration purchases.
One has to wonder why the migration purchases couldn't be executed in the
same amount of time.
Anyway, I am covered for the next 2 years, if needed.
