I need some advice. I was contacted by our local small town bus
transit manager to help them improve accessibility on their website
when using a screen reader. For various reasons they need to give a
link for screen reader users to go to route tables. I think I
convinced him an html table would best be readable when moving cell
by cell and hearing the column header information. But, he still
wanted to know if there is a way to make a PDF easily navigable with
a screen reader. The sample PDF he gave me would only allow me to
move down using the dedicated down arrow key. Insert + down arrow
would not navigate as it does in an html table. Is there a way to
make a PDF table function as an html one when navigating?
Thanks,
Jeff
