I'm not sure what you mean when you say you can't remember how to turn
on custom graphics. If you want the graphic definition to go into a
dictionary tied to the set file associated with the program, rather than
the default, do the following with the program open. This is assuming
you've associated a set file with the program.
1. Open the WE control panel.
2. Go to Dictionaries, Status, Graphic, and check the check box to
include program dictionary. This will give the dictionary the same name
as the set file.
3. Control-S to save your settings.
4. Escape to exit the control panel and return to the program window.
5. Find the icon with the mouse keys.
6. With the mouse pointer on the icon press Control-Shift-E.
This should land you right in the text box to name the icon.
7. Tab down to the update entry button and press the space bar.
8. Control-S to save settings.
If you want to try the auto-label graphics function press Insert-G.

Hello,
Please refresh my memory. I need to locate and label a graphic.
Specifically, I am running Windows 10 version 1709 on an HP desktop running
Window-eyes 9.5.4. I am playing with the free version of Outlook Express
called OE6.1. I want threads to be closed when I open a folder. Although I
know how to set this in OE6.1, I can't recall the Window-eyes procedure first
to turn on custom graphics and then to locate and label the graphic which
indicates that the next OE message is the first in a thread.
Any feedback is much appreciated. Call me a curmudgeon, but I will only use
Jaws when a specific task either cannot be performed using Window-eyes or is
appreciably easier and more reliable using Jaws.
