Hi Anthony,
Sorry, but I don't know what to say. I knew the new version isn't as accessible. So I've just been saying no to the update. But eventually the old version is just going to stop working. At least that's what it said today instead of just prompting me to install the update. The only other thing I can think of is to restore a system backup if you have one.
Good luck,
Tom

Hello tom,
I don't know if you can be of any help to me.
3 days ago I had skype updates and when I was doing the installation it
failed and now I can't use it.
For example the commands and the setting are not working. So I uninstalled
it and installed another version, 8.25.0.5 but it remained the same.
I hope that there is a way how to resolve this problem.
Thanks in advance
Anthony

David,
NVDA has nowhere near the control and flexibility of Window-Eyes. You can
read the entire user's guide pretty quickly. It's the first option in the
help pulldown.
Unless I somehow missed it there's no control over the cursor keys.
Configuration profiles are the equivalent of set files.
Hth,
Tom

Hello,

I am trying to find a way to change what is spoken when I use the cursor
keys in NVDA. In WE the cursor keys can be changed to read character, line,
etc.. I would like to do this with NVDA.

Also, can I create a set file equivalent with NVDA?
