Hey Lloyd,
I'm glad the problem solved itself on your laptop.
Just for the record, you can get 2 Tb solid state drives. So mechanical
drives don't necessarily mean more space. But the SSD market is a fishy
one. There are drives that aren't much faster than mechanical drives.
Then there are PCIe and NvMe drives that are 14 to 17 times faster than
mechanical drives. And of course there are plenty that land somewhere
in-between.
Regards,
Tom

WE 9.5.4 was giving error messages, asking to send error reports to AI

For the last 3 or so days it has stopped happening. I imagine this had
to do with an update to either Windows 7 or to Microsoft Security
Essentials. I try to run updates frequently, including the "quality
rollup" ones that are optional but probably become essential at the next
Patch Tuesday.
So this is just another one of life's mysteries.
I don't think my Windows 10 computer, which I don't use as much, is up
to 2019-3 yet, so can't tell you anything yet about the storage problem.
But that machine has a hard drive instead of an SSD, so it has plenty of
room to store files.
