that takes you to the list of installed apps, weather they are running or not.
there you can stop, restart or uninstall each app from the w e program.

Thanks so much, Rod. That worked! Why the process I was following
wouldn't work is something I don't purport to understand. I was first
opening the control panel, then left arrowing to apps amd [ressing
enter, then down arrowing to app management, down arrowing through the
various apps until I came to Windows enhanced, at which point I hit
enter which kicked me out of the control panel. Go figure!

Hi Don,
Starting fresh, you would open the WE control panel using Ctrl-backslash.
Pressing Alt-A should open the Apps menu.
Pressing up arrow should bring you to the bottom of the Apps menu, which is
ideal since the items on the menu are sorted alphabetically, and so Windows
Enhanced would be at or near the bottom.
In fact, on my Apps menu it is the last entry on the menu, and so, at this
point, it should be highlighted on your menu too.
If not, then either the Windows Enhanced app is not running or is not
installed.
In that case, I would say the easiest solution is to find the Windows
Enhanced app package and reinstall it.

Rod

Subject: Window-eyes enhanced
Last week, I inquired how to get to the various options within the
window-eyes enhanced app. I saw a message from Butch suggesting I go to the
dropdown menu. Another respondent suggested I press right arrow after
highlighting the app.
Unfortunately, neither of these options worked on my system. So I find myself
wondering if I have a problem as I am running Windows 10, 1809, 17767.615.
Ideas please.
