Morene, Whether this works for email will depend upon the email program you use and perhaps even the version. I just tried it on Outlook that I get with Office 365 and it did work as described. The best thing to suggest is that you give it a try on messages you were going to delete anyway. Of course, if you delete a message you wanted to keep, you should be able to move it from your trash or "deleted" folder back into your in-box.

Will this also work on emails as well if they have accumulated, which they do? Big problem for me. SMILE! Find the first file you wish to delete, hold down the control key, go to the next file you wish to delete, press space bar, go to the next file you wish to delete, tap the space bar, (remember during all this the control key is held down), and so forth until you have hit space bar on all the files you wish to remove. Now, after letting up on control, hit delete. If you wish to truly delete all those files and don't wish them in recycle bin, hit control delete. You should get a prompt which is a wee bit different than "moving to recycle bin." :) Hope this helps, though late. Was on a cruise and still catching up on mail.
