Hello Rod,
I was trying to look for the Windows Live Mail app as you suggested but
couldn't find it.
I seem to remember that some time back someone on this list gave us a link
to download a full list of WE apps all zipped up but for the life of me, I
can't find it any where.
Could you please put it in your Dropbox and send us the link to download the
app?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Don,
I am not certain why Outlook.EXE is involved and producing a script error.
The actual app which supports Windows Live Mail is WindowsLiveMail.wepm.
This file can be found in the folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Gw Micro\Window-Eyes
If you navigate to this folder, highlight the file and press Enter, you will
re-install the app.
Try this and see if this works.
Good luck,
Rod

Subject: a possibly corrupt Window-eyes script
My Dell desktop is running Windows 10, a recent incarnation of 1909. I
recently reinstalled Windows Live Mail, the ribbon version, which seems to
be working well. However, I believe the Outlook Express script for
window-eyes is corrupt. Whenever I attempt to modify an email rule, I get
kicked back into the open message rather than the folders tab opening as it
should so I should be able to down arrow to the message rules tab and modify
the rule.
Sorry if I didn’t verbalize the problem well. Stated another way, when I
have an open email message and want to create or modify an email rule, I
cann’t open the folders option or any of the other options such as
accounts, view, file, etc. So what I want to do is to reinstall the
appropriate default script whose name I don’t recall. I recall that there
is a way to do this from within Window-eyes, but I don’t recall how to do
it. Please refresh my memory. By the way, the version number is of course
9.5.4.
Thanks.
Don Roberts
