It can charge all my USB devices and the Sony Ericsson phone. It can also be recharged from the USB port of a computer. For the very long trekkings I carry 4 more rechargeable AA batteries that don't lose charge too much when not used. The big advantage is that I am now able to recharge by means of standard AA batteries and it works just as well when walking or taking the bus. No need for a bicycle.
