I think the problem here is one of 'political correctness' since there is a distinct difference between travellers and gypsy groups and while neither may be bothered by the be distinction on a map, There is a difference between site allowing for transient occupation, and permanent sites more akin to residential caravan sites. We do then get into the discussion on *IF* we should record the position of such sites where they have been established without any regard to local planning rules. I only flag that one since a new site has appeared not far from here which is a privately owned field but which has been converted into a well provisioned permanent site over a single weekend. -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://home.lsces.co.uk/lsces/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://home.lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk// Firebird - http://www.firebirdsql.org/index.php _______________________________________________ talk mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/talk
