Not if you consider that roads are to be marked down their center line and typically the parking area ends to the outside of the center line of the road demarking their boundary. I have recently corrected several areas I have traced in my area because I had drawn them with their boundary along the center line of the road they abut. While they do indeed go right up to the sidewalk/road bounding them, they don't extend to the centerline of the road.
