I'd even ask: Why do we have such a link at all? What matters is how a term is defined in OSM context, not how it is defined by Google, Wiktionary or whoever. If "highway" in OSM is a collective key for everything from footway to motorway, *that's* the relevant information, not the "A highway is a main road intended for travel by the public between important destinations, such as cities and towns" that you get from Google. Therefore instead of cluttering the box with even more links (that are placed excessively prominently above far more interesting information) to probably contradicting definitions, we should simply eliminate the definition links from these boxes. If the OSM meaning is indeed based on some external definition of the term, then exactly that definition should be linked in the descriptive text.
