I actually removed the link to the Google definition search for the key template last minute (see diff http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php?title=Template%3AValueDescription&diff=232135&oldid=231022) as part of a gradual tidy up. I've done the same now for the KeyDescription infobox template. > as for example, the key=snowshed page would naturally have a > definition as part of the description (1st paragraph) of the wiki > page. Indeed. Defining how the tag should be used (or rather, has generally been used) on OSM is the whole point of the wiki page. Linking to a Wikipedia page which has more information on snow sheds might be useful for those who aren't sure what one is, but I don't think the idea of calling anything a 'definition' is very helpful. > In what case should a dictionary definition be used instead of > encyclopedia?
