Yes you're right, some spare batteries for the Nokia would be a good idea; I've got a stack for the Openmoko that are pretty useful.
I have a flexible solar panel on my desk that we had been trialling with a number of mobile devices, although I managed to break it (and my boss another)... Still, it would have been good to strap to the outside of a backpack and use for a day of cycling / logging in the sunshine.
